Before we start, we’ll introduce  our methodology that underlies all of our Top 10’s. So, to create the ranking of the top 10 TikTokers, we filtered the Kolsquare database of over three million KOLs with more than 5,000 followers according to the platform, their credibility score, and their job category, namely global influencers, bloggers, or videographers.

  • With the Kolsquare credibility score, we show how trustworthy an influencer is in the eyes of the respective audience, where a higher percentage indicates a larger number of real followers (as opposed to  fake or bought ones). We rate a score of 70 or higher (out of 100) as good, better, etc.
  • The engagement rate measures the effectiveness of influencers based on reactions, comments, shares, likes, and similar interactions per post and is therefore an important indicator for brands.
  • Earned Media Value (EMV), which indicates the value of advertising and reporting, is also relevant in influencer marketing and can reflect KOL rates on platforms like TikTok or Instagram Reels.
